Best-selling auto brands in the USA in February 2015

Car manufacturing companies believed that February will be very good in terms of sales. However, their expectations were not fully satisfied because of the problems with weather in some parts of the country.If were compare the amount of sales this February with February 2014, we will find out that the total amount of sales has grown by 64,000 autos or 5%. Mini auto brand was the quickest one in terms of growth, but the growth of Jeep was substantial too. The sales of Maserati and Smart declined the most, and Dodge went through the worst decrease among volume brands.
As for the top-selling automaker in the US, General Motors, its Cadillac and Buick brands have experienced a significant drop in sales, while two other brands, GMC and Chevrolet, have grown. During this February, more than 69,000 GMC trucks were sold.
Although the sales Dodge and Fiat have decreased, the overall sales of FCA increased by 6%. Jeep appears to be the brand that allowed achieving the general growth; it had become the biggest seller among all FCA brands.
Toyota managed to make it to the second place in the list of the best-selling cars in the USA in February 2015. It is the first time Toyota outsold Ford since August 2014.
