Ford Escape, which used to be the best-selling SUV in February 2015, lost five positions, accounting almost 10% decline in sales. Ford sold 2230 less its Escape models compared to February 2015.The winner in this segment in the United States in February is Honda CR-V. It has narrowly outsold Toyota RAV4 by 355 units. Chevrolet Equinox took the third place with a little amount gained, while Nissan Rogue has grown substantially by 25%.
As for the utility vehicles produced by Ford, their total sales have dropped by 4%. The highest decline was faced by Ford Flex (33%) and Ford Edge (40%).
It is noticeable that there are no autos by premium automakers in the list of the best-selling SUVs in February.
