The German company has revealed some information on its new Passat Alltrack model. This car is expected to be presented for public at the Motor Show to be hold in Geneva.
The car is higher by 1.08 inches than the non-Alltrack models. Besides, plastic body cladding was added to the car, while its bumper was also redesigned in order to increase the angles of departure and approach. Another new feature that was added to this car is its underbody plates made of stainless steel, which protect the important bits of the car from bashing during driving.
The auto is powered with the same engines that are used with the wagon model by Passat. The engine lineup includes gasoline engines which make 150 hp and 220 hp and diesel engines that make 240 hp, 190 hp, and 150 hp. All the copies of this Passat Alltrack have a standard all-wheel drive system 4Motion.
An off-road mode added to the model provides it with sounder throttle and braking responses during the off-road driving. Besides, it is also possible to activate the hill descent and start systems when driving the car.
The sales of this new Passat Alltrack will probably start this autumn.
